Hand assembled by us here at The Skyline Shed is this 'top of the line' PPG 5-Speed GTR Gearbox. This transmission suits those who are making or planning to make over 1000hp and want to drive their car to and from the track with peace of mind. This unit also has a standard 5th gear synchro setup for those smooth quiet rides on the freeway (5th gear is not a weak spot in these units). Many upgrades have been performed overall to this unit, right down to the transfer case which is fully rebuilt with new OEM Nissan parts, along with additional friction plates for better distribution of power. The entire gearbox casing and transfer case housing has been vapour blasted for that nice OEM cast alloy look and a Speedtek lockout shifter has been fitted to prevent you from selecting incorrect gears and causing any damage, this shifter has been used on the worlds fastest H-Pattern GTR which ran a 8.04 @177mph.

• Disassemble and Industrial wash transfer case and components.
• New OEM Nissan Friction plates x 10 to lock up the front and remove any slack during power transfer (this is a common modification for applications over 800hp).
• New Transfer Case Chain (OEM Nissan), as second hand ones can stretch and cause catastrophic failure.
• New Filter/Strainer unit (OEM Nissan).
• New Seals (OEM Nissan).
• New O-rings (OEM Nissan).
• New Bearings (OEM Nissan), some bearings are discontinued from Nissan and are sourced locally from a reputable bearing store.
• New Thrust Washers (OEM Nissan)

• This transmission does NOT come with the transfer case but can be added in using the dropdown menu.
• This transmission does NOT come with a speed sensor, this is purely because we do not know if the user plans to use this with a mechanical or electronic reading dashboard.
