A second hand 3rd gear with no chips or structural damage, coupled with a countershaft to suit, both units are in USED condition and have the usual wear and tear, however they are NOT broken. Being second hand they "may" cause a slight noise or whine when used, suits someone willing to take a risk or good for a track car. There is no guarantee that these will make any noise at all, in fact they may operate super smooth but we are just doing our part by informing the customer... again, there is just no way in telling until the parts are in the vehicle.
What you can do is give them a polish to keep the edges smooth, we just don't have the time to sit there and polish every tooth by hand, considering second hand boxes are selling for $3000aud on average, this is a great way to repair a gearbox and get it going again!
