The Skyline Shed - Third Gear Repair Kit to suit RB25 / RB26 Turbo

The Skyline Shed has assembled this kit for those looking to repair broken 3rd gears in the Nissan Skyline 5-speed Turbo platform. This kit is designed to replace your current 3rd/4th gear setup, the gears are removed and replaced entirely with BRAND NEW OEM Nissan components direct from Nissan Japan. This process also upgrades the older style synchro setup to the newer design which does away with the fiddly synchro clips known to fall off and land at the bottom of the gearbox causing horrible gear changes.
We use components from the R33 GTR Series 3, these gearboxes have a much more robust design for their 3rd and 4th gear which utilizes large slotted key ways to stop the synchros moving out of line compared to the thin clips in the old design.
This kit also comes with a brand new countershaft and a brand new offset design input shaft to suite the new 4th gear. The 3rd gear synchro is also upgraded to a triple piece ring which makes for much smoother and easier shifts. This kit replaces up to 40% of the components in your gearbox including the entire 3rd gear and 4th gear setup.
